Figure Drawing Reflection 2023

Above are my favorite drawings that most accurately represent my progress in observing the human figure and recreating it on paper. All of these, asides from the first and last images, were done within a minute. I think I have improved wonderfully from last year. My figures, while pretty to look at, were relatively stiff and their joints connected like links of sausage. However, this year my figures are more dynamic and have more movement to them, which I love. I am very happy with how I have improved and look forward to using the skills I have acquired in these two short weeks for the rest of my art career.
